We are a small rattery in South Staffordshire and focus on breeding marked rats (Berkshire, Hooded, Variegated, Capped and Bareback) in Silver fawn, Buff, Cinnamon, Topaz, Agouti and Black. We have recently started developing a new line and occasionally have kittens available in Russian Blue and Russian Blue Agouti and Russian Silver. Due to the fun of breeding these varieties we will also sometimes have selfs in related colours and friendly pet quality mismarked splodgies! :-) We breed Top Ears and Dumbos, usually in smooth coats but with rexes bred occasionally.

Bog Myrtle Rattery is registered with the NFRS and we are working hard towards producing show winning rats and earning our stud name in the future. The name is the translation of part of the Anglo Saxon name of the village where we live. Our first litters were born in May 2006.
